Bruce Willis and Die Hard: Have we seen enough?

So You probably already know that A Good Day to Die Hard or "Die Hard 5" has recently hit theaters. I just can't help but thinking. Okay, Bruce Willis had his time to shine, and yet it seems to me like he's trying to kick back, or studios want to get what's left of him and/or his action.
I've noticed he's been in a lot of movies recently. He's 57, If he's going to go for the Harrison Ford style kick back, well...
Back to what I was saying, in this year and last year alone he's been in 10 movies. Most of them with tons of action that won't last much longer.

The Expendables 2
Looper
G.I. Joe: Retaliation
& A Good Day to Die Hard

are just some of the movies. With Die Hard almost 30 years old now, a new sequel, are we done here. I mean look at Bruce Willis in 1988 and now

WOW!

And you can kinda tell the difference in the middle three.

especially between 3 & 4

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Official Mask Revealed in New Pic.

So if you're a comic book fan like me, (obviously) the chances that you've seen The Amazing Spider-Man are pretty good. You might know that now it has a sequel coming in 2014. But it just got real when Marc Webb released a picture of Spidey's new costume earlier today,

Minecraft Adventures: Bones the Wolf

MONDAY! Minecraft Adventure. So I was done harvesting some experience in my experience farm but then is soon as I walked out there was a wolf standing right next to me. Scary right? Luckily, I was just killing some skeletons. So I had like 30 arrows and 20 bones. U thought what the heck and I decided to the wolf. After A while I get sick of him following me around so I named him Bones and gave him the whole upstairs to himself what a surprise in 1 day I had an open attic turned into a fun room for my dog named bones...

Smallville: Is It Worth a Second Look?

As someone who is younger, I didn't really know about (or care about) Smallville. Smallville was a TV series about Superman in high school, while developing his powers. It first aired in October of 2001, at the time, it was a massive success for the WB. Close to 8 million views a night. The first two seasons wee outstanding and really popular. By season three, people lost interest In the same old thing. I personally loved the third season. I don't think it received the reputation it deserved. Before the air of the sixth season, the WB sold the Smallville franchise to the CW and they ran the next four seasons. In May of 2011, the final episode was aired. It is currently in syndication on TNT.

But after all of the changing stats, is Smallville worth another look?

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire official poster and thoughts

A MOVIE THEATRE

TODAY, A CERTAIN FILM BROKE BOX OFFICE RECORDS. THIS MOVIE IS KNOWN AS THE HUNGER GAMES.

OK seriously, that movie was insanely popular, and now its getting a sequel! I thought the first one was disturbing enough! What the heck, I probably will watch it. I read the first book but I haven't read the second. I hope its better. But this is the first poster for Catching Fire. Honestly, I don't know what to think, I assume they're getting married or something. What's with Katniss' hair, it looks blue! I don't know, it could be the lighting. Wow, what a weird way to write a post.

Batman/Superman New 52 Adventure Series coming this June!

I am really excited for the new Man of Steel movie. I think it will really reflect off of the new 52. I mean just look at his costume in the new 52 and compare it to Man of Steel.

No classic curl, no underwear, way better...

But yeah, especially with TDKR just released less than a year before this. Wouldn't it be awesome if they collided for a movie?

Yes this is fan made and it isn't the man of steel movie superman. But you understand what I'm trying to say, right?

Even if it was just for a comic series, like in the new 52 re-release from 2003. Wait, that leads me right to where I wanted to make my point. Batman and Superman will have their own series of their adventures together. Including excerpts from The new 52 Batman series and Superman new 52 series, and fresh adventures, villains, bosses and heroes. Word on the street is that Amethyst will cameo as a storyteller or something.I doubt it but, you know, the internet.

This would seriously be awesome.

Open Discussion #5 Batman Reboot?

I don't know about you, but I absolutely loved the Dark Knight Rises! I thought a sequel might be awesome but I reboot, well they couldn't make it any better than this movie is already. Although, that's what people thought when I first saw the Tim Burton Batman from 1989. And then game Batman Returns. And then Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, sheesh! But less than 10 years later, Batman Begins started the Dark Knight trilogy. Although come on, After Batman and Robin, He needed a reboot. That's not the same with The Dark Knight Rises, Thar was a great ending. I don't  think it will need a reboot for at least 15-20 years. Like Indiana Jones, no one wants a reboot. Even if The Crystal Skull didn't do so great at the box-office.
Even though we all love the DKR, DC has moved forward with a reboot. I find that kind of CRAZY. It was going to happen before the Justice League. But it has been pushes to at least 2017. Even that ia a little too soon.

Minecraft Adventure: Enchanted Armor

So I was harvesting experience using zombie pigmen and I reached 129 levels. If you don't know, that is the maximum amount of experience you can have at one time, or at least on 1.4.7 so I needed a way to spend it. I was looking through my inventory when I realized I could enchant a whole set of armor at 30 levels per item. I took the opportunity and now I have a whole set of Enchanted diamond armor. Plus I had enough experience for an enchanted bow, pickax, sword, hoe, and shovel. Time to go harvest more experience with my giant mob spawner!

Iron Man 3: Will Iron Man Die?

So if you are like me, you are really looking forward to thr new Iron Man movie. The new trailer was released and now the movie has a spot on my must see list. But obe thing I've heard multiple times from different sites is that the ending will be like the ending  of The Dark Knight Rises. Now if you haven't seen The Dark Knight Rises you might not want to read on because the ending of it is discussed...

OK, now that the spoiler thing has been taken care of, back to what I was saying. You know how in the end of The DKR the Batman legend ends but Bruce Wayne is still alive? Well I hear that is how Iron Man 3 is rumored to end. Iron Man ends but Tony Stark will live on. I personally think that the whole idea would ruin the franchise and just leave a gap for The Avengers 2 to take place. I don't think Marvel wants to start phase two of their cinematic universe with a big "NOOOOOOO!!!" if you understand what I'm trying to say. The Dark Knight Rises is its own story. since a Justice League movie wasn't even confirmed at the time, and now Mark Millar scrapping the idea just proves that the endin was great. The Avengers 2 on the other hand has been confirmed for the last movie of phase 2. Plus you can't do an Avengers movie withiut him. Just like you can't make a X-men movie without wolverine.

Bonus Open Discussion: Star Wars Spin-Offs?

It's Saturday and that means... oh yeah, I forgot! today is a bonus open discussion. I'm doing this to make it up to you for my late Minecraft adventure. So technically this doen't count as a real open discussion. Or else the title would have been "Open Discussion #5" so lets get started! Star Wars spinoffs is today's title what does that mean exactly? Well it means that Lucasfilms has been purchased by Disney and now they want episodes 7-9. BLAH BLAH BLAH, that was November news. But now Disney has confirmed at least two spin-offs. Now this is kind of news so I don't want to bore you with news you already heard. But this open discussion is mainly my ideas (and your ideas if you comment.) about what they should consider if they are going to branch off from the original franchise. I think a Yoda movie has been talked about a bit. That would neet. As long as he can kick butt like he does in 2 & 3! Yoda is an easy character to make fun of. So in reality, a Yoda movie might not be taken seriously and is a pretty good way to lose money. I've also heard some talk about Boba Fett as a kid. Wow! You would probably have to be a really hard core fan to be interested in seeing that movie. Han Solo with his own movie? You can't not cast Harrison Ford. Except River Phoenix. If you have seen the third Indiana Jones movie than you might understand what I am trying to say. Unfortunately, he was on drugs and died. DRUGS RUINED THE CHANCE OF A GOOD STAE WARS SPIN-OFF! Okay but seriously, drugs are no cool. Do you want to take something that killed so many good actors like Heath Ledger and River Phoenix? Anyway, back to the topic. He would be good if he was still a teenager. Chewy totally deserves his own movie. He earned it. Everyone loves Chewbacca. Although, once again a good way to lose money. Oh what the heck I would probably go see all these movies. One thing us for sure. I will be at the midnight premiere of Star Wars 7!

Valentine's Day: How did it go?

So Valentine'd day has come and gone just like it does every year; how did it go this year. I personally thought it would have been batter if it didn't happen right then. Some of my friends are so dramatic and yesterday didn't help.

what do you think?

Review: CaptainSparklez

It's Friday and that means a review or open discussion. Last week was an open discussion so this week is a rrview. Speaking of that, tomorrow is a bonus open discussion because of the late Minecraft adventure. But today is today so let's get down to business. As you probably already read today's review is on CaptainSparklez. If you don't know who he is he is a famous youtube star who has almost 3,000,000 subscribers. What he mainly he does is play video games and stream it on YouTube. He plays Call of Duty, Happy Wheels, but he's more famous for playing Minecraft. His real name is Jordan Maron. CaptainSparklez sometimes plays adventure maps on Minecraft his 2 friends Mark and Nick. He is most well known for Minecraft Survival and SkyBlock. Jordan is a normal 21-year-old; he lives in an apartment and loves video games. He has been featured on other populer youtube channels like thefinebros and digbuildlive. That pretty much wraps up this week's review. But don't forget tomorrow's bonus open discussion. Or to subscribe to CaptainSparklez!

Why auto-corrects aren't needed

Phone Auto-Corrects are really annoying. Even more than the orange. Sometimes phones will correct real words to fake words. Like when I try to type Minecraft it turns out as something wierd like Minexaft or Nicfafy. What do these words even wierd. I Blog from my phone sometimes and this always happens. Now some auto corrects help like adn to and or stuff but most of the time, they don't help. This is just one of my thoughts. It's just my opinion on a dumb subject.

News: Super Heroes in Super Danger!

Well, if you are a Justice League you might be disappointed to hear that the Justice League movie is in trouble. We have the Green Lantern movie, we have The Dark Knight trilogy, we have the Green Arrow TV series, we almost have the Man of Steel movie, but now what. That's just it. A Justice League is what could be next, but the chances just decreased. Mark Millar, the developer of Smallville Just scrapped the script of the Justice League calling it "A great way to lose money". So that helps a lot Mark. Just because he was in charge of a TV show that lasted 10 years doesn't mean that he gets to call it quit on a movie people have been waiting for since television began. New writers are being considered but no word on anything sice Millar said that. Zack Snyder's Man of Steel might help. If it does well in the box-office, our chances will shoot up. The Dark Knight movies helped a lot with over $1.8 million at the box-office. Green Lantern would have been better if it didn't happen. Man of Steel will make it official. Take it or leave it, go big or go home. If you want a Justice League movie: GO SEE MAN OFF STEEL!

Minecraft Adventures: Experience farm

Welcome to another Minecraft adventure! I'm a few days late so sorry. Last week I built a Bat-signal above my house. This week I just made a way to make a factory or something to harvest levels of experience. so here's what I did: I dug a huge hole in the ground,9 filled it with lava' and then spawned cole to 500 zombies! I was flying abve them so they followed me to the lava hole. They all fell in and experience came flying from everywhere. I harvested close to 30 levels of experience and enchanted a really nice diamond sword. The advantage to being smart!

tomorrow I have a new Nightwing review on my comic book blog, and And Friday I have a new review. Special Saturday bonus: A nee open discussion (because the minecraft adventure was late) thanks for reading.

Open Discussion #4: The Future of Gaming 2

It's Friday s that means it's either a review day or an open discussion day. Today, as you probably read, is an Open Discussion day.

So a while ago I posted an open discussion about the future of gaming. I explained how the experience is always better than a tablet or portable device. I spoke with someone from TrinityWired, he explained how all technology is changing and gaming is changing as fast as anything else. So without further interruption, I present, The Future of Gaming 2

So I was reading an article from IGN the other day and it was talking about the PlayStation4, the XBox 720, and the Wii U. I noticed that I haven't heard any news at all about the Wii, PlayStation3 or the XBox 360. So I Googled the consoles only to find that they were all getting discontinued in 2014. That shocked me. The wii is so unique compared to all the other consoles. How could Nintendo do that? The XBox 360 by far the best experience for F.P.Ss (First Person Shooters). Especially because you don't need a special controller like you would in those BuckHunt games on the Wii. Plus, Sony just released the PlayStation All Stars game for a PS3 exclusive.

That's another thing I wanted to cover: exclusives. Wii all know that the Wii is the best experience for Nintendo exclusives. Mario and Zelda won't be available in a good experience for gamers. Like I said, the F.P.S. gamers go with the XBox 360 when it comes down to those. Like no one plays Call of Duty on the Wii. They only make MW3 and Black Ops for Wii. The PS3 is the way to go for platforms like Rayman and PlayStation All Stars.

I guess the three can come in evenly for open world games like Lego games and Saints Row games.
The other new gaming systems of 2013 are the SteamBox, the Project Shield, and the untitled Sony portable divice.

Systems that will be discontinued in November"
Wii
PlayStation3
XBox 360
DS
DSi
DSiXL
3DS
PS Vita

this is the end for this weeks Open Discussion.

Next Friday is a CaptainSparkez review.
Next Monday is a new Minecraft Adventure

Next Wednesday on my other blog is a DC review; Nightwing Vol 1

Minecraft Adventures: The Bat-Signal!

Welcome to the first ever Minecraft Adventure short story. So yes, I bought Minecraft for my computer and now, what can I say, I'm addicted. These adventures aren't necessarily in oreder, in fact, this one happened last Friday...

So I was working on the farm I made. I have two sections of my farm. the slime room, and the farming room. I raise the animals for kill, as you might have guessed, but when I don't get any beef or eggs or wool from my kill, I bring the animal to the slime room. The slime room as where animals go to slowly be squashed by the completely enclosed area that contains close to 10 giant slimes. So anyway, I was doing that, when realized I can't find the mountain my house is carved into. Later, when I found it, it was already dark. So I decided to make some kind of beacon or marker to mark where my house was. I went to sleep, the next moring, I gathered all the bedroc (that was risky) and obsidian I could get, and built a giant bat-signal above my house. Now it didn't look as good as this

but it was pretty good
