'Batman: Arkham Origins' Not available for Mac via Steam

Yesterday, the new Batman game, 'Batman: Arkham Origins was released. I was super excited to get it on Steam, $40 isn't bad. It would be may $60 if you got it from Gamestop. It looked really cool. I logged on to Steam, to see that it was only available on PC. That really disappointed me. I recently got a 2009 Mac Mini, w/ OS 10.8.5, and a bunch of super awesome applications. It replaced my Windows XP Microsoft Office '95 PC. It was going to be really cool... Until I saw that Windows sign in the corner of the game Thumbnail, and now Apple logo. How sad.

Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch - Is it Worth it?

Samsung seems to be taking over all of Apple's fresh ideas. Here's the thing, in order to stay ahead of Apple, Samsung released the first 'smartwatch'. A touchscreen watch as been a concept Apple has been promising for years. However, Samsung beat them to it. Samsung's smartwatch is called 'Galaxy Gear'. It interacts with your Galaxy smartphone or any other Samsung Smartphone via Bluetooth. Obviously, with the seemingly constant advances in technology, you can guess that this device does more than tell you the time. With the Galaxy Gear, you can take calls, send texts, but not much else. The main point of the Gear is not to replace your phone, but to be your smartphone's companion. The Galaxy Gear is supposed to make your life less complicated. Whats the point of a device that's more complicated than the device it's trying to simplify.
In Conclusion, The Samsung Galaxy gear could be the future of technology, or at least the smartwatch. We’ll just have to see what the future has in store.

Smartphone Status: iPhone vs. The World

Apple has been making a big deal about their new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. I personally think they are very unique in there own way. For example, the iPhone 5s is the first phone to have iOS 7 pre-installed as the default system. The iPhone 5c has a very sleek plastic body, along with a colorful touch. However, Apple may have the success of their latest products going to they're head. While each new iPhone is greater than its predecessor, the speed of progress seams to be considerably "slow". Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4, the size and shape seams to be in some ways better. The Galaxy S4 is thinner, and bigger, making it more open and spaced out. There are a lot of complaints regarding the recent iPhone layout, saying that its 'too crowded' or too 'compact'.
According to Time, The iPhone 5 is actually the third highest ranked smartphone on the market today. Apple products were once the must have, leaving anything else in the dust. Now, Samsung and HTC not only caught up, but passed Apple in the great smartphone race.
Besides the HTC One X, the iPhone 5 is the smallest. the largest being Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD, and the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Here are the top 10 Highest Rated Smartphones of today.

1) Samsung Galaxy S4
2) HTC One
3) Apple iPhone 5
4)Samsung Galaxy S3
5) Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD
6) HTC One X+
7)Motorola DROID RAZR HD
8) Samsung Galaxy S4 Active
9) HTC One X
10) LG Optimus G

A lot of brands have there name on the Top 10 multiple times, but Apple and LG are the only major companies to have one best-selling product. If the quality of Apple is  turning out the same as LG, than Apple really needs to step up there game. When the first iPhone game out, nobody cared what a stupid HTC thing was. Now, we're seeing that over the past few years, the HTC One is a better smartphone than the iPhone?
What happened to Apple? The iPad has been slacking. The only notable difference is that the resolution of the iPad 3 is higher. Quoting a few technical directors, "Apple isn't the same without Steve Jobs". It makes total sense. Jobs passed away in late 2011. Name one Major breakthrough in technology since then? Exactly.
Somehow, the Apple consumers have been more creative than Apple itself. People have thought of a clear iPhone, an iPhone that projects a keyboard, etc. All of these are pretty advanced ideas, and could be distant in a release, but it's better than a lot of the stuff Apple has been putting on out plate these days. Now, I don't want to complain, because that's not what this article is about. I'm just saying that Apple is slacking, and/or being lazy. To the everyday consumer, the only difference between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5s is Siri. Now, anyone who can interpret this as wrong is above average with there technical knowledge. The iPhone 5c could be considered nothing more than a plastic iPhone. We know this is wrong. The iPhone 5c is the first phone to feature Apple's new A6 Chip.
I think what we are all looking for, is the great anticipated technological breakthrough, that everyday people would notice, not just the super tech savvy people. When will Apple shoot back to its former place on the Top 10 as #1?
I think what we all want to see is Apple where it belongs.
