Review: Marvel's Civil War by Stuart Moore

This isn't a back up post. I actually Just Finished Marvel's Civil War by Stuart Moore. You May know that I'm on vacation right know and I've been doing a lot of reading. This book was a very "blogsworthy" novel, it especially fits the theme of this blog. So I decided to review it.

You may have heard of Civil War by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. It was a great comic mini-series. It changed The Marvel Universe completely. It sold over 250,000 copies per issue. Of course, when something gets that popular, someone else has to do it to try and to get popular. That's Not the case here. Civil War by Stuart Moore is a Novel Adaption of the great work by Millar and McNiven. The Book is about 300 pages long and has about 30 chapters.

In the story, the age of heroes has been dying.   J. Jonah Jameson, the editor of the Daily Bugle has issued a forced registration of all the Heroes and their powers. Iron Man thinks it's a bad idea, but yet necessary step, while Captain America thinks its a hideous assault on America's Freedom. And So comes a Civil War.  Captain America and His Team vs. Iron Man and His team. All of the Avengers, some Guardians of the Galaxy, stand alone heroes, and even Villains are forced to take sides. The Fantastic Four, The Avengers, everyone. The X-Men are pretty much trapped inside the walls of their own school. The Thunderbolts think that they're their own team. The world of Evil brakes loose. And the battleground: America!

Overall this is a great book. The pacing is good. There's some Mild Language like there was in the comics. Not like how language ruined the Transformers Franchise. some of the ending is a bit questionable. But this is still an interesting, fun, edge of your seat book.
(I know that sounds like a movie, but I really felt that way). I would not recommend this book for Marvel newbies or big fans of The classic Marvel Masterworks.       3.5 Stars!
I want to do one of those DVD Cover style quotes Like I did for Man of Steel.

"Epic! Stuart Moore is an Amazing Storyteller!"
